Project black eagle… A 1989 Pontiac trans am GTA edition, t-tops, 5.7L V8, red with tan interior, ill post pics of black eagle tomorrow, I paid 0 dollars gonna pick it up for free if i get it before it goes to scrap yard. Right now its just gonna be about power, right now engine doesn’t run so once it does i want to do something unique im thinking turbo :R its gonna be nice pics will be up tomorrow at 3:00pm. let me know what you think this car should be im thinking drag car.
it was being sent to the scrap yard? be prepared for spending lots of coin, lots of time and loosing sleep on getting it running. but if you have the determination to follow through with it, get errr done!
my buddy in high school had t/a 350 with twin turbo’s, i think he spent more on gas in a week then he did on the car the hole time he had it, good luck with your project
My uncle picked one of those up for $500. It had a carbuerated 305 in there.
I did most of the work on it to get it up to par (Electrical issues, overheating issues, engine issues) but after a couple weekends with tons of work that thing would kick ass.
It couldn’t handle for shit but it was always happy to get up and go.
Is the GTA Trans Am fuel injected?
The Trans Ams are lighter front ends and better handling, right?
