So, my boss just got a G35, and her damn gas door won’t open. We tried locking and unlocking the car about fifty times, and the damn thing still won’t open. Tried this reset process that we saw on a G35 forum. NOTHING. Anyone else have any ideas? I’m thinking the solenoid is probably bad.

Seriously, I have no clue. Is it a push-button in the dash/door that’s supposed to do it? Do all the other buttons around it work?
Nope, they’re push on the door, and it should pop open as long as the car’s unlocked. Mine never had issues.
Or perhaps a fuse for the electronic mechanism that sends the signal for it to open?
