Why? Because the Japanese are bored and looking to do new shit. While over here an S15 front end is still cool and trendy over there is been played out for two years. So naturally they take it to the next level. If you ever have a chance to look at a JDM built show car/race car, they are quite amazing simply because of how meticulous and precise the japanese are with everything.
I bet that every gap on that car is exactly the same, the paint doesnt have a speck of orange peel and so on. Yeah its not what we are into here but the quality of work which is what I respect the most is bar none.
You have to admit, even though you may not like the styling, it does look pretty damn good. Now when you go to importfest this weekend and see a civic with BMW lights and S2K tails you can truly start to appreciate this car.
I don’t think anyone is judging the build work.
Even though the execution might be flawless… the design is poop, IMHO.

yea Kouki S14 is right , the quality of that car is just perfect some of you might not like the design because a Vast majority of all of you here are exactly like all the guys at ClubSi where all of them want H22’s or the new I-vtech motor in thier EG civics and the exact same exterior on all of them Mugen or Type R lip package…im just simply sayin the car is nice and it will definaltey catch the eye of judges at shows because at least he kept it all Nissan , instead of the 240 with the Integra lights =(
Not only that, when people mix and match car parts here, they usually don’t flow at all, and end up looking retarded.
In this one, the skirts follow the line of the widebody and fill out the car, it makes it look a lot more normal. I mean, the front bumper is a bit silly, but the car doesn’t look like a hack job, which is exactly what every other conversion that mix and matches looks like.
the only hack-job thing about it are the sunken-battleship rims… put on spacers or get -48 offset deep dish bastards! that should do the trick.
The rims are barely sunk, wouldn’t really need more than a 10-15mm spacer at most. I dunno why everyone on SON is such an offset nazi, un-functionaly flush rims are ricey and gay.

I like the creativity, and design ,the front bumper is a little much.
Nonetheless i appreciate workmanship and creativity alot more than public appeal. Especially in a world where looks are everything, and being original is nearing the cliff of impossibility!

i wonder if it just bolts right in with the z33 front end…or is there lots fo work involved? cause im currently building a drift 180 and if its a close to direct bolt on i might consider tihs!

Hardly a bolt on affair. Look closely they cut the front fender wells to fit the lights. There is tons of custom work I bet.
I hate the bumper too, its a Top Secret bumper hence why all the Japanese use it.

I love the rear end, it’s the best rear end custom ever, the s15 rear ends, teh r32 and even r34 rear ends and that other custom one with round lights SUCK ASS. This rear end is plain simply awesome. The front end is not maybe what i’d do but the work is absolutely brilliant! i love it. Too many haters here.
I bet most of you would go around sayin “yeah i did this conversion” and be the shit all proud that you have it, but now you’re just dissing it because it’s something you don’t have/didn’t do/can’t do/etc… Typical. Of course you’ll say “oh there’s no way I’d do that” but fact is you just can’t “Oh i’d spend it on better things” Bullshit lol.
