240SX = The New CIVIC? :(

are 240sxs becoming the new civic…or are 240 owners just failing to take care of their cars? i went to the states and came back still without my stuff, because my fucking asshole exboyfriend changed the locks on my place. (we shared a place together) so until further notice the audio/video stuff is on hold, ill still take orders just not able to give you a delivery day yet. But back on topic, on my way to the states i ventured up to my friends cottage, around the GTA and into NY. I cant believe how many 240sxs i saw, but the problem was that they were either damaged or completely riced out. blue and green doors and flat black rims with a huge aluminum wing? we need 240SX POLICE to go around and beat up whoever is ruining the 240 image! on my way through mississauga a while back i saw a flat black coupe with a red trunk, spray painted rims and the exhaust was HANGING with bungee cords? come on guys i love my 240 too much to HANG THE EXHAUST WITH BUNGEE CORDS.

Final Note: This rice shit needs to stop. Take care of your car properly or park it. Done.

so far the 350z has racked up more rice points I think, but then the z32 has it’s share of gheyness, the sx cars seem to have largely escaped the trend as did the older z’s

Anyone else want this locked?

Aye…

yeah i know i dont drive a civic thanks… lock

Yea, a civic is far too reliable!

As for rice…

If the car is cheap (check!) and it has sporty pretentions (check!) then kids will rice it.

I like rice, it goes well with Satay and other tasty asian foods.

A truer statement has never be spoken…

Rice sucks. Noodles FTW :stuck_out_tongue:
And the 240 is not the new civic, it’s the new Eclipse. Just like how everyone was buying DSMs after the first FnF, now they’re gonna buy 240s. It can never be the new Civic, since not enough of them were made.

I don’t think the 240sx played a big enough role in the new FnF for people to really care about it.

240sxlover, what made you get a 240?
(if you own one)

Dont even think about comparing a civic to a 240…!

Also… each owner has the choice of doing whatever to their car. So let them rice it up if them want.

Post some pics of your 240, I want to see whats done to your car.

Whats wrong with a mix matched body panal?

It adds character
To each his own I guess, I had a mismatched red hatch on my black S13 and I flat-blacked it the same day b/c I didn’t like it. But some two tone colour schemes are very nice, I’m still tempted to do my car a two-tone black & white.

Once you’re done, you can name your Project car “Michael Jackson”

i will post pictures once its out of the shop, then maybe guys will see that women can modify their cars properly too. yeah not many 240sxs were made compared to civics, but the owners that i have seen are neglecting theirs. maybe the mix-matched body panels arent ugly to you…but i tend to think rainbow colored cars, or cars with the exhaust hanging from bungee cords is pretty fucking ghetto. dont get me wrong, i love my 240 and wouldnt trade it for the world, im just trying to say that owners need to respect their cars more.

they try, they try. some people, however are on the verge of bankruptcy and can’t afford anything other than a quick-fix for now.

on a side note, i too, am interested in your car.

tru say

I wouldnt’ worry about the fanboys that have beat up 240’s… clears throat S13GG clears throat (j/k)

Why worry so much about astehtics when all your going to do is smack it up again? Run it off the track? Run into a wall? Run into another car on the track? (notice the lack of street reference)

Sure I like my car as much as the next person, but I have no community obligation to keep it 100% mint. Why do you feel others should adhere to your viewpoints?

nocwage, i do own a 240 - i chose to purchase a 240 after owning an older miata. i chose it for the styling of the car, and because it kept the rwd which i like. i never intended to drift my car or try to be a paul walker wanna be like many try. i just dont see the point in buying such a nice car, then running it into the ground instead of taking care of it.
