The xbox, any standard IDE hard drive of your choosing, and if you need to read CD-Rs, a Samsung dvd drive. Some xboxes come with THompsons and wont read CDR (only DVD-R(W)). ebay has other options aside from the samsung as well.
Also, if you need your saved games backed up, it will take more than 10 mins. :mullet:

ps my modded ps2 is 220v is there a way i an put in a 110 v power supply instead of bringing back a converter

I got doom 3 and no interest in Fifa.
I did play doom 3 for about 30 mins one night when I was testing my dad’s new 42" wide screen LCD tv he got with my high def cables. with a nice surround sound and dim lights, its very eery. The first 30 mins of the PC version was better though… after that i lost interest.

the chip has nothing to do with watching movies. I’ll install XBOX Media Center on it and it plays anything your PC will play… and maybe more. Just be aware of what I said about the dvd drives… thompsons are picky!
I don’t know about the power supply… i’ve never dealt with a non-standard one… :dunno:
i hvae some IDE drives eric… like 20gig and 40gig… not really worth installing, i’d suggest a 120gig bare minimum… just depends on how many movies you wanna store!

Ive got it… but… I am giving up on it… I dont have the time to keep renting games and playing them. Ima just mod my xbox and get my games on the net or from friends who already have crazy modded xboxs. I have the 21/m 2 game deal. Their not that bad and shipping usualy get my games at a max of 5 days if its a holiday. Shipping them back takes a little bit of time for them to mark them in. I just cant keep up with all the games I want to play and the time to accualy sit down and play them. I did find a few games that I figured I would like and said forget that. I am glad I used it becaus ei kept me from buying games I would have considered a waste. I say go for it ifyou going to copy a assload of games.
I have heard its a bear and a half to get them to cancel your account. Ive heard horror stories of people having to deal with their support to cancell charges. I hope I dont have to go thru this shit when I do.

yeah I would love to keep it, but I got a buddy that has a assload of shit on his haXbox that I am going to copy over once I get some time to accualy sit down and mod this thing. I bought it last october and the new one is cominig out in like 6-8 months so Im pissed. I might stuff linux on the damn thing. :crying:
