2 of the 4 floors I fixed failed because they couldn’t resist the hot tire pick up from driving over it. All the prep was done properly.
^^^I’ve got a one component oil floor paint that you can slide a washer or dryer across without peeling, I’d be mortified if the epoxy didn’t hold. The difference between a good epoxy and a cheap epoxy is it’s hot tire pickup and salt/oil resistance.
I just caught that the O.P. isn’t driving on it, just paint the floor if you want it painted, or get some area rugs. Epoxies are also high gloss, so you’re going to get a slippery floor if you don’t add slip resistance.
