Technically they are not adding a surcharge to credit users, just a discount to cash users
I’m betting someone could easily make enough of a case out of it to get it to a court of law. If / when that happens, the stations will fold their hands.
i seen the cash discount somewhere at some little place in south buffalo don’t remember the name,
i know sunoco and kwik-fill give you a discount for using their credit cards.
thats a different kind of transaction though. Can be blamed on the card incentive.
