The plattsburgh county air base was moved from rt 3 to the old Air force base…the vacant old air port is covered in snow…some guy tried to pitch a nascar track there but no go on the funds. This place is privately owned and vacant. I am working contact info on him…FYI the Airborne speed way has confirmed atleast two drift races up there this year. Will get more info asap
Checked airborne’s schedule; didn’t see anything. I called them too, the guy who answered said he didn’t know anything about it. But I don’t think he knew that much about the schedule in general.

Plattsburg International is the old SAC. Commercial service commenced sometime in 06-07(based close officially in '95). Before that CCA was the main airport in/out of PB. I’ve flown into both airports in the Cessnas/Katanas.
CCA might be an option as it’s no longer a commercial airport, just local flights similar to SCH(however uncontrolled), minus the C-130 flights
