why would you rebuild your bottom end? I would not put the money into a 7m, its a waste imho… look into a 1jz swap there a little less expensive than a 2jz, sometimes you can get the sorer 1jz swaps for pretty cheep.
actually a while back, i found a 1j for like 998.00, so you can get em pretty cheap, BUT, the 7m is a better base because the 1j makes most of its power through the twins

umm… you do know you can make a ALOT more power out of two ct12’s compared to a ct26… plus you do not have to deal with all the bottom end issues of a 7mgte… its a better design… and as far as stock for stock goes its right up there with a 2jz but revs higher unfortunately has less displacement… but a better overall motor…jz motors are all map and have electronic fans… oposed to mech fan and that afm.

The 4.3L V6 has a lot in common w/ a Gen I/II SBC but just about nothing in common w/ a Gen III/IV (aka LSX).
