ideas -they would be get a new trans .orrrrrrrrrr try all the dumb ideas ya can come up with to fix it and then still pull it for a new one
Yea, he figured that. He just wanted to know if it could of been a sensor first that could of went.
Tell him to quit being a ha-bib
put the antislip trans shit in it.
check the fluid aswell marlin
unless it has that limited slip option …then it is ok
lol doubt it doess
horrible shit ,than will actually wreck a tranny worse …just sayin
tell him to make some investments
who cares its a dumper.
a dumper is a dumper.:haha
works better in power steering problems than it does in a trans :lol
acctualy I and other have had this work… but yes I have heard its not really good for the trans
Drain the tranny completely (SAVE THE OLD FLUID), buy 3 quarts of lucas stop slip depending on how much it takes
Top off the rest with the old fluid…
Few cars have gotten another few years of service with this method.
than the real problem was bad fluid …not the additive
Brand new fluid dident do shit… still slipped.
The “use old fluid” idea came from someone else and it makes sense as I have heard of many cars getting worse after a fresh fluid change
if its already fucked it doesnt hurt haha
gotta love cob kings
the problem isn’t the fluid so much as when you drain it’s the sludge thats built up around valves and and clutches moves or is released and pouring it back in doesn’t put it in the same. the tolerances are the key in auto trans
Alright dude is gonna try that , if not then hes buying a trans tommrow .
new trans fluid is very high in cleaning agents .thats why when ya service a old tranny some peeps have meltdown problems cause it cleans varnishes off of parts that need it there to stay alive …
i have one here laying around. my buddy got it with a used motor package. i know its out of a civic, not sure what year. should be the same as integra. has 70k on it. give me $100 and get it out of here.
Alrighty wayne , ill pm you tmro about it after I talk to him.

Pretty sure Civic auto trannys are different from auto Integra’s.
