Let actually try to get some sold advice in here. I’ll remove all the BS afterward and make it a sticky.
Legit advice: if you get a speeding ticket on your motorcycle…DO NOT ride to court, nor do I recommend bringing in your helmet and jacket when speaking to the judge/DA.
Also, if you can try to avoid mentioning that you were on a motorcycle unless they ask, as much as they try to admit they don’t discriminate, courts do. They see you got pulled over on a sport bike and instantly assume the worst of you.
Orchard Park wants payment that day, FWIW.
Town of Tonawanda gives a due date a few weeks out and actually ask you how much time you need to get the money together. They are pretty swell. Make sure your turn you cell phone off. They don’t like it when you leave it on. 
My advise: If points are at risk, get a lawyer; lawyer.
AIIIIIIIIGHT?
Step 1: Get Pulled Over.
Step 2: Recieve Ticket.
Step 3: Check the time/Date on the Ticket.
Step 4: Send Ticket in(Plea Not Guilty).
OR
Step 4: Go to court 1-2 Hours early.
Step 5: Sentencing by Judge(Plea Not Guilty).
Step 6: Pay Fine(Amherst).
Step 7: Pick Driving School Date(If this Applies to you).
Step 8: Pay Fine(All Others).
Step 9: Go to your Driving School.
Step 10: Everything is back to normal.
West Seneca: Court Date/What you need to do(Driving School)/Pay.
If you have to go to School you need to go to the class FIRST then Pay.
Payment is Due within 2 weeks from the date of your School date/Court date.
Cheektowaga/Depew/Lancaster: Court Date/What you need to do(Driving School)/Pay.
Amherst: Court Date/What you need to do/Pay/Driving School.
Court Makes you pay ON THE SPOT!(make sure to have anywhere from $250-$400)
If School is offered in place of points ALWAYS take School.
North Tonawanda will NOT allow you to bring a cell phone into the court room. leave it in the car.

i think its when you under 18 and you get caught stealing in the mall. but not sure.
OP offered the same thing. If your still in school and dont have a job they will make you write a paper, instead of having your parents pay the fine.
most of us I think fall under the pay the fine move on with your life.
i got nailed doing 87 in a 55 on the 290 a couple weeks back the officer came up to me and the frist thing he said was “man o man u were so close” me and my buddy were like whattttt he then went " u were almost back to the future man ya know 88" i was like ooooooo sooo i was thinking hey hes cool i got this no ticket maybe a exhaust and no front plate or something stupid but nope 87 in a 55… now i got town of tonawanda court on the 18th, i should be OK this is my frist speeding offense with no pts on my licence
should seriously any ticket be pleaded not guilty? even my minor equipment malfuntion ticket when i know i deserve the ticket, what could possibly happen if i go to court over this?

What is the reasoning to go to court 1-2hrs early? Obv you don’t want to be late but is that the only reason?
sooner you sign in the sooner your called, if your the last one called the judge is miserable.
plus then you can get out of there quicker.
