Genesis Coupe. Opinions?

just remove the badge on the grill and you are all set.

g35 mated with a g6 coupe.

excepet these will be fast lol and have good warranties

Looks like the designer sneezed more than a few times when drawing this.

your brain has cancer.

i like the car but i dont care for the front end all that much. it looks like it has high cheekbones. an aftermarket front bumper/headlights would fix this but most aftermarket bumper covers will be rice gay stuff.

Brian

may be my next dd when it releases but I’ll go with a 2.0t

I really like the entire car. I can’t wait to see what the aftermarket will throw at it such as ecu management. Also curious to see how much of a beating both the 6 and the 4 can take.

i’ve been reading up on the 2.0t and its the world engine which is in the same family as the evo x, with low boost 6-8 psi.

correct me if im wrong but if its true this is hot.

honda needs a rwd coupe asap. k20-t anyone?

I like it quite a bit

bacon hmmmm i love bacon, but that car is sick

mitsu, hyundai and chrysler all developed the world engine so that should be the one in the Genesis coupe.

hmmmm if they all developed it, i wonder if the chrysler 2.4T from the caliber srt-4 bolts in? its already at 285 and stage 1 ecu puts it over 300.

Brian

LOL

I like it, I also like that they thought about driveability in the design.
The back side window could have easily been even with the front window. however thinking about visability when passing they made it lower to equal out vission because the car has a rake to it.

i love the car but i was suprised how much hp difference between the r spec and the track version.

r-spec is to have 220 hp (premium) and the 3.8 v6 track model is 310 hp. That all motor v6 is a beast. I am guessing these are going to be 30k+. They said the Genesis sedan is 35k-40k.

220hp on low boost. you know that the boost isnt going to stay low for long. then the 3.8L wont look so appealing.

Brian

Im guessing the reason they didn’t do a low boost 2.4 is because the HP would be too close to the v6. Which is also the reason why the 2.0 is low boost.
