oh wow, that night pic makes the car look evil.
Looks great… keep up the good work…
thats a nice mod…did you try to bondo out the pop up cutout…one piece with the hood…dont know if that would work or not
at first i didn’t like it… but after seeing the latest pictures i think it’s kinda growing on me…
what’s your solution for highbeams?
edit: oops nvm. you have it up there
looks good man, the only thing i would change is make the cover a bit shorter, like the supermades
Thanks for the advice guys! i like that pic above^^^^^^^ I just may have to do that but i bought another hood to make the eyelids attached to the hood so its all one peice…this will get rid of all my alignment problems ive been having with the eyelids and the hood. Still havnt had time to get new regular white or super white bulbs
i like ur idea for welding the eyelid covers to the hood, jus one suggestion…
keep it flush across with the hood like they are now, dont shorten the eyelid covers, keep it straight across mang.
they look nice though dude 8) what are u doing to align the bulbs properly?
if i was keepin my 240 id be making some now,
very impressed. take care.
The cool thing is the fiberglass housing and all that is seperate from the eyelid so no matter how off aligned the eye lid is the rest of the headlight is not affected. as of now i can angle the whole housing up and down, i can move the actual projector headlamps inside the whole thing up and down and side to side as well as align the eyelid seperatly so its flush with the hood(which needs work because the drivers one keeps moving) Because it keeps moving is why i want to weld it to the hood end of alignment problems. Right now the headlights are aiming a little too low, but ill have that all straitened out before the car gets sprayed 8)
nice, make sure to take a pic of that when you’re done. oh and sidewayz, i’m loving that car. I might have to do that on mines sooner or later.
saw them in person today with new ultra bright lights and headlight covers as part of the hood.
It looked good, despite what the haters say, anything like this will take a little engineering and/revisions, and for a first attempt they look dam good, not quite show winning good, maybe a re-vamp/smoothening of the housings/fitment, BUT good none the less
The final touch…i prob wont play around with them anymore as im very happy with them. I made the covers flush with the hood and got new housings and bulbs for my night lights. Their very white…no blue nonsence. At night it almost looks like a integra…not so much a heatscore like before with the yellow headlights. How ever the yellow ones light up evvverything at a wider angle and are perfect for when theres no lights and you cant really see where your turning. Enjoy.
Let your opinions be heard wether you like or not. Id be interested in seeing how many people dislike the idea.
I personally think it looks goofy but from the pics posted, the
craftsmanship looks ok. :dunno:
Closer pics of the actual headligh area?
nice effect 100% on makin it your own touch good work.
i think it looks pretty awesome…i wouldnt do it to my s13 but its great to see that people can still mod their cars they way they want them, and not be offended about what others think
great job done now GET THE CAR PAINTED!!
^^^^^^I hear you rob…when ever the red 240 sells. I was thinking painting it white :?
This matches my interior perfectly…its exact to mine! Minus the wing and decals obviously.
nice 8)
