where can i get a housing to put my bulbs in or… do i have to get projectors and retrofit the hids?
you will have to get the h4 conversion housings, then get an hid kit for an h4 setup.
Keep in mind you should look for the housings from a company like hella or something like that. The cheap ones have plastic instead of glass and would most likely start to melt and distort with the heat of an hid.
hids run cooler and with less wattage than a halogen bulb.

keep in mind blister_nuts that you would have to lower your headlights so you won’t blind the 5hit out of the people on the oncoming lane, especially the popo. most of the hid aftermarket kit have a 5hitty cutoff line, you would need a cutoff housing thing, goes over the bulbs. ebay sells em for $5.00.
you can grab those cheap plastic h4 conversion if you want the clarity and grab oem bulbs/ballast and retrofit bmw/acura/mercedes/etc. projectors.

what exactly is the cutt off housing thing called? also, are our lights 200mm or 165mm? i found the conversion kit on summitracing.com just not sure which kit to buy.
i sell complete hid conversions with housings for 575 plus tax.
this has propper cut offs. warenty everything…

which would produce better lighting. bosch conversion kit or hella conversion kit? dont know which one to get. i have the kit, just not sure which one to purchase.

unless you find an H4 headlight housing that has an auto leveler, HID wont work properly and you’ll get tickets galore.
You need the full projector assembly to focus the beam properly, not just the housing (unless you meant projector included with what you’re saying) It’s really really brutal driving infront of a car with a ghetto rigged HID system. It sprays light all over the place, you can’t see a thing. That and it has such a stupid ricer blue look to it, where as the real HID sparkles like a diamond.
Honestly, that link should be stickied, if you want HID, put in the WHOLE system projector included, not doing so is the same as cutting your springs to lower your car.
actually i had hids with the cut off shield in my audi with non projector lights…
they didnt blind anyone
they didnt diamond out
they were direct plug and play
they were not auto levling.
