I want to build a strange automobile for fuel efficiency. Third gen firebird, because they have surprisingly low coefficient of drag and are somewhat light weight for what it is. Mercedes 4 or 5 cylinder turbo diesel and LT1 T56 trans. Rear end will have 2.79 gears. Low rolling resistance tires on 15 or 16" light weight aero wheels. Then do a full belly pan, diffuser, weight reduction, ect. Its a silly dream but I gotta think of something while pewping when I forget to take a magazine in.

I’ve always been impressed with the milage people manage with the turbo LS swapped 3rd gens. A diesel 3rd gen would be boss though.
