I hate to say it, but honestly I am not surprised by the laziness and lack of professionalism that GM displayed in court defending the CORVETTE nameplate…
Not sure how much work any lawyer would put into “proving” the Corvette name is a trademark name to GM. Kind of like going to court and the court asking you to prove gravity is real.

I’m sure GM has some brilliant legal minds working for them, and some less brilliant. The good lawyers were probably busy assigned to things like bankruptcy restructuring while the intern probably got assigned the “go prove Corvette is a recognized trade mark” case.
