Gm's in the 9's for pocket change [split]

Big ALS challenger is sick, keep in mind that he probably has well over 80k Into that car and it’s tubbed out… What was he running 9.75???

His best is 9.64 at 149 I believe. No tub, he just has crazy AFCO suspension and a TCE rear brake kit so he can run 15 inch rims with huge rubber.

He had a lot of problems over the summer and just go it running straight the last 2 months of the race season. He has full stock interior with the full 8.50 cage. The custom twins set up was a problem for a while but he got it working well. Should see low 9’s with the new one and his drag pack will go 8’s.

Id love to go 9’s and im sure i will with the proper track conditions, weather and getting the car right. Itll be a mid 10’s car easy. My friens with the same blower and a forged 6.1 went 10.68 at 127 his 2nd pass with his new set up at Atco.

You will run 10’s easily, and you know how to drive… Mid 10’s are more realistic… You know every setup is different

I didnt look inside it at atco. Usually he has all interior in it. Ive never seen it with more than just the seats out. Hes never pulled carpets or panles or anything. But he may of had the seats out, i just know usually he doesnt go that far.

I shouldn’t have said gutted cause he had carpets, no seats besides driver… Wanna say no panels but not exactly sure… One of nastiest cars there either way… His arrington block is proven and you will get the same results… Def a good pick up…

I want to look into turbos for next year, 2012 season but idk man i think itll just be to to much. He had a ton of trouble getting this set up tuned properly and finally running well. From boost leaks and the two step trans mission it was just a nightmare in ohio this summer. I think AJ said he was making like 48 horsepower per pound of boost or something crazy once they did the math.

I have a boost leak also, so aj says… He couldn’t find it, forget where it dives, maybee 5400rpm… Not exactly sure, it showed on dyno… Could also be belt slippage… Just another thing to get worked out before April… I’ve been looking into twins, or maybee a big single… I wanna get a few good passed outta this blower first then see if I’m bored… Never ending problems, this rear is crucial though… And trying to find nitto nt05r, when they are completely sold out across the country…
