Anyone know of any go-kart tracks around the 518 that are wide enough for a car and have owners that are cool enough that would let us shoot a car on it for nothing? If it had red and white curbing like a legitimate race course that would be a plus.

Edinburg isn’t great for what you’re looking for. No curbing…and the owner would probably take a warning shot at you if he saw you on it unless it’s during a Tri-vette event. You could go during the event May19th/20th and talk to the Glenn Haake about it, I’m sure he’d let you snap some pics after the event is run. The only place thats close that I can think of that has a little curbing is Lime Rock Park, don’t think thats going to happen without giving the owener a generous sum of money :lol

i went on there a few times last fall and never had a word said to me and they wouldnt give you shit over a photoshoot. but yea theres no curbing but if u ever need a hand getting there let me know you can follow me up
Wait…Slade right? For the last time stay off that track. First…it is private property. Second…we went through a bunch of shit the last 5 years trying to get permission to host our own events there and the owner shot us down because he doesn’t want ANYONE on/using the track other than the Tri-vette club. And having people dick around on it for any reason isn’t helping us at all. This year especially since the Tri-vette club is losing members and is looking for our help to hopefully co-host some events. Hopefully we can the ball rolling from there.
