N/A Mustang will do alright, i mean mine isnt anything crazy, pretty mild setup by todays standards, and i went 11.82@112 with timing pulled out of it for spray. Depending on what ya do Paul, ya could have a pretty nice setup there, plus you dont have to deal with boost, or running out of bottle all the time. Just get it tuned once and your done…
i wouldnt trust them with my head… plus id rather just buy a stock Big port head. the factory ports on it are bigger than you can get from porting my head i have now.

a big port head is a head out of a 97-99.5 audi a4 1.8t iirc and out of a 98-99.5 passat 1.8t.
no they are tough to come by these days. bare castings go for like 700 used., cams are like 1000, valves, springs, retainers and lifters, all said and done its like 3000$
then youve got to either buy new oem bolts, or get ARP bolts for it so thats another 200bucks or so. then you need an intake manifold for it, and in order to get the RIGHT one, i would have to change IC piping around for it.
Definately getting a tune this time around. I wanted to this year but mechanical issues prevented that.
I heard some Mustang tuner is going to be using Redlines shop sometime in the spring to tune Mustangs. Matt told me that.
My heads are at the Napa on Wolf road right now. Supposedly the guy there is really good.

unfortunately i dont have a mustang, these guys would butcher my head. only a few people id trust to port one… but you can buy it pre built with the best of the best for some solid coin. not worth it to me. i dont need to make 450+ whp.
Yeah we had sloths heads checked and such at that Napa. And double check who is doing the tuning at Redline, because some “tuner” tuned Cobra Joes car, and it misses HARD at like 5K…

The heads are getting checked really good and so are the valves to see if one or more are bent.
I really dont have any info about the tuner. Somebody Matt knows told him about it. Im sure he’ll get more details.
Some tuner also told Joe his car is the fastest Cobra he’s seen or something like that. That alone makes me wonder about that tuner.
He said it was the fastest ported blower cobra hes done, hes done other KB and whipple termi’s etc…
I didnt remember the exact wording of it. I just knew it wasnt the fastest Cobra around.
