I’m flying out to Columbus read-eye tonight on business. Is there anything worth seeing/doing out there? I’ll be there through Friday.

haha, I unfortunately travel to cleveland, columbus, and cincinnati bi-weekly for business. All 3 suck. Get drunk on the company tab at dinner and pass out in your hotel room.
Columbus is by far the best city in Ohio IMHO. The area around the hockey arena is good. Depending on how old you are, the campus area can be fun. Lots of cool areas in Columbus. It is the biggest city in Ohio now and is growing pretty rapidly. I’d live there in a heartbeat. Only downside is lack of hills, but otherwise, I like it more than Pittsburgh.
Columbus is great… A college town. you should stick around for Saturday and go to the Penn state Ohio State game. Columbus is also twice the size of Pittsburgh
I might actually catch the Tuesday night Blue Jacket’s game… I was at the Shark tank when we stomped 'em 5-2 the other night. :owned:

i was gonna suggest that but i wasnt sure of their schedule though
A Blue Jackets game would be fun.
I googled and wikipedia’d that for proof, you are right. But totally didn’t believe it at first, because when Iwas in Columbus this summer, it didnt seem that big at all.

AMA Hall of fame Museum in Pickerington, just East of Columbus:
The Arena District is cool. There’s a bunch of restaurants and bar/night clubs down there. Of course, there’s the arena, which is really nice.
There’s Easton on the east side by the airport. They’ve got some really nice stores out there and restaurants. Hopefully it won’t be too cold since it’s an outdoor mall mostly.
There’s also a couple decent automotive shops out there to go check out. IPS is probably the biggest one. You can always stop by Jegs, or go see National Trail Raceway.
Hope this gives you some ideas.
