golf app for blackberry

any good ones? ive tried 2 and neither would work with internal gps on my curve… i used accelgolf and nrange…

i know alot of ppl have the iphone and golf apps…

www.porn.com

you cant golf anyway… who cares?

i don’t have an answer to your question. but do you pay a monthly or yearly fee with the apps like you do for a real golf gps?

no

thats why i need a golf gps for my bb but hey im getting better… closer to under 100 lol

haha

golf is for pussies and old guys

i can’t imagine any of those golf things for phones have half the courses you’ll be golfing at preloaded. just go buy a skycaddie gps. i just googled them and even that professional unit doesn’t have every single course listed.

i have a program for the iphone called mycaddie, i think the company that makes it is called imakepars… they have all the major courses around here and the full version allows you to map a course yourself and load it to their network of courses.
i think one of the reasons people spend extra money on “smart” phones is so they dont have to go spend 300 bucks on silly gadgets like skycaddie

and to the OP, that program will be available for BB soon… according to their website.

if you are on Verizon the GPS is not accessible to 3rd party apps thanks to Verizon locking it out.

Not sure what you are talking about. GPS worked fine with my old World Phone and my Tour.

I have a BB 8830 World Edition from Verizon. I had to hack the OS to get the gps to work and it will only work with the BlackBerry Maps, it will not work with google maps or any other software.

I hate Verizon.

you don’t need to hack the world phone to get it to work. Just upgrade to the new OS and it works fine. I had it working no issues with Google Maps.

I downloaded the new Telus OS, removed the vendor.xml file, and upgraded the phone and it still will not work with anything other than BB maps. :dunno:

I was talking about the Curve… I know they have gotten a bit more open with the Storm and Tour

I can only use VZNavigator or BB Maps, nothing else can access the GPS
