Good Deal or Bad Deal?

I’d agree with $10k as a long shot. It’s a good starting point. But given how well the car looks, he’s probably not going to let it go for that much. Maybe $11k, which I would still jump on that because it’s still a good deal. You don’t find very nice FD’s for much under $13k. And seeing how it is the winter season and the location of his car, it’s easier to get the car now. Come spring, that car will gather interest and sell, and I highly doubt it’d be let go for under $11.5k. But get those compression numbers first. If they’re in question, then you’ve got a solid argument for talking him down.
