Newman - Meguiars sells a detailers lineup of towels and brushes that are good quality. Pepboys sells them. The waffle weaves are great. The regular microfibers are great too (pricey, though).
Another option is the big microfiber drying towel at Target. I’ve had one for about a year and a half and it still feels like new.
I don’t like water blade type products for all the reasons Mike mentioned. dunno. Not a huge fan of the absorber. It just…“catches” on the paint.
Go microfiber. They’re fun.
