I keep washing ym car at night but i don’t have any good towels and i dont want to drive it around in the salt to dry it off… what should i obtain?
Microfiber towels. Full size. Quantity: 2.
California Water Blade and Microfiber towels
I’d say if you offer someone $100 for their dryer, that’s a good offer.
As far as what you’re looking for, either a squeegee or a chamois would be ideal.
+1 on the waterblade. I use it all the time. Peop Boys and Autozon have them for about $15 I think.
you ass
thanks guys.
Guess I didn’t change the title fast enough I knew that was coming.
FTW
Best combo ever hands down. Blade gets the majority while micros get the drips and drops left behind
Actually
i use a regular wiper
and my mesh shorts
fucking works wonders.
waterblade works awesome i have one as well
i bought one of these last year works wonders
The water blade is a good thing, but if there is any debris on the car, it can and will scratch. If you are going to use that fine, but use it in conjunction with the Waffle Weave MF towels. you can get them from pakshak.com dftowel.com or more locally from my friend scott over at http://www.specialtymotoring.com/
Edit: oh and to wax the Elise, since it is red i really recomend either p21s (s100) or souverign they are both truly exquisite waxes on that color. Just make sure you hit it with a light polish first
i love the absorber … works great for me …
hrm, pictures howie standing in the drive way with no pants on drying off his car
I use “the absorber”, work great, and good for applying “wax-as-you-dry” at the same time
If you have debris on your car after washing it, you need to a do a better job.
I’m careful to never lay the blade on the floor and I always rinse it and run my fingers over the edge to make sure nothing is on it.
Water blade and Absorber. I swear by em! $40 for both at most auto stores.
not true… you know of me and my detailing and how meticulous i am if not look at www.ddetail.com/gallery most of those have mine and coreys kiss on them. Debris can be in the air as you are washing between washing and drying, things can get caught in the mitt and re-deposited on the vehice etc… The two bucket method helps with this, but you an never be too careful. I know that alot of people that use the water blade wrap it in a towel when they are done so that it wont pick up anything stray.
Oh newman, the blade makes a funny noise. Dont worry about it, it is fine
wow good stuff. Wanna do my cars?
:word: love both of them!
A leaf blower will do a fantastic job…
Make sure to take pics if you do the above…
