good "mom and pop" bar to eat @ around NFB and ridge lea?

feel like going for a beer and some food on lunch today, without the crazy crowd of applebees/fuddruckers/tullys/ect

anyone know of a place? McBee’s used to be awesome… but they closed :frowning:

Mayback’s deli isn’t a bar, but its got some of the best old school subs around - and they’re not stingy with their meat (although it has been a bit since I last went). mayback’s on NFB across the street from Barnes and Nobles

lol I hit that place up once a week  much love for the steak hoagie

man - now I’m craving one of their salami subs - man, the things I miss about Buffalo sniff

I think I’ll run out and get a turkey sandwich - some one was kind enough to send me a jar of Webers

nice  if ya ever want any of that ish sent to ya, let me know. My sisters and brothers in law are always having us send them stuff native to the area lol (webers/sahlens, ect)

if you want mom and pop go to buffalo not cookie-cutter-chain-amherst

problem is my work is in amherst, not the buff :stuck_out_tongue:

not everyone wants to drive 40mins to eat at what will probably end up being in a shithole…

Carl your parents called me and told me you were born in the city of buffalo

Probably packed for lunch but Shannon Pub is right near there.

Dre your parents called me and told me theyre moving to east amherst and are gonna buy SUVs and chill at starbucks all the time and eat at roadhouse and the such every day from now on and that you were born a woman…

Last time I checked, I could make it from Amherst to Sterling Place in buffalo in about 10-20(max) minutes.

HAHAHA

maybe at night

sure as fuck not mid-day.

lol. i don’t think they’re ready for that monotony yet

and I can make it from ub to my house on ashland and w. ferry in 15-20 minutes any time of the day, besides rush hour. without speeding

meh. I like the city, not enough to live there though. To each his own…

yea we’re not really down with hampster colostomy bags here
