whats a really good online RPG/Adventure game? one of my all time fav’s is D2lod but you can only beat it so many times.
so what do you suggest.?
i played EQ2 for a lil bit, but the game is way to involved. and way to time consuiming.
any sugesstions?
World of Warcraft is the biggest one right now
I personally think nothing compares to it, except for Ultima Online back in the day
UO is to yesterday as WoW is to today
but they are very different… and not just graphics wise… UO took lots of time… WoW is more efficiently played for a couple hours every few days instead of round the clock…

Be careful with WoW. I just spent a grand today buying a computer to play that friggin game. And I am still a noob. Sucks you right in. I haven’t seen a friend of mine in about 6 months, no joke. He’s been playing that game non-stop.

FFXI is too difficult for many players.
But if you like a good story, smart non-teeny boppy, mature, Internationally diverse players, requirement of teamwork, stable servers, and intelligence, then play FF… otherwise if you want CS version of an MMORPG, I’d bet WoW is better.
I’ve been playing FFXI for 2 years (?) and I am only 1/4 through the story line. 3 jobs to 60’s and 3 to 50’s…

Why do you hate WoW soooooooooo much? You’ve never had an account, you havnt really logged any time into the game…
Are you saying WoW doesn’t take teamwork or intelligence? it doesn’t have a good story? The servers arnt stable? etc etc etc?
For the first two, you cant be a non team playing fucktard to take part in a successful 40 person end game raid… if you are, you will get dropped with the quickness…
I think warcraft has had a pretty decent story line that just keeps going through all the games…
Servers are pretty stable… yes they do go down once in a blue moon, my adephia goes down more than the WoW servers do… but for the most part im happy with them…
