I’ve never been to Letchworth and was figuring, someone on here has gone before and knows of some good places to go hiking there.
yes I understand I can look it up on google or something, but I want some personal opinions of maybe things people have come across or good things to see while hiking.
StoneyBrook was cool. You actually walk in the stream and can go swimming at the waterfalls and whatnot.
Couple places in the Niagara gorge. I’ve only gone on the Canadian side though.
Watkins glen is a paved path along the waterfalls. Great place for pics, awesome views, but I don’t like not being able to get close to the water without getting bitched at by a parky.
Fingerlakes region offers ALOT. Just have to find it all.
yeah i have a cottage in rushford, so i figured while i was out there it wouldnt be a far drive to go to letchworth.
for the gorge, i have hiked every part of it. lol i have more than enough pictures right now and have still be taking some. lol
i was actually there last weekend. my gf actually climbed the cables back up. I was def impressed. (not the strongest person)
<3 LW, the drive out there and the park. Just start somewhere and walk around till you find someplace you like. Thats the whole idea behind hiking right?
right, im looking for some good places to take pictures, Im the go big or go home type. so if im going to be there i want places I no will interest me more than others.
like with the gorge i like being by the rapids, the caves, the power plant. other places between there are sweet but obviously dont compare to those.
