Beautiful Places to See and Hiking!!!!!!!!!!

Ok so once summer roll around when I am not being obsessed with cars I like to get out and go hiking. Or even just to check out a nice view. Since I am not all that familiar with this area I would like some suggestions from you guys. Trails, parks I should see, even cool places for a weekend stay. Does not have to be that close I am always up for a road trip.

Thanks!!!

I intended to take the dog up to Bond Lake last summer and never did. Not sure if it sucks there or not, but I want to find out. Go check it out and let me know.

Adirondacks are always a good time.

This was my trip up whiteface mountain last year…

This my 2nd hike up Hurricane mountain. It was a 1,500 ft elevation hike.

Local places: Zoar Valley is always a good time, Niagara falls gorge, Ellicottville, even Chestnut ridge and Emery park if your up to it. (both those parks are good for frolf too)

Thats a long hike!!

ft***** haha damn it jeff…

Nice pics!

zoar is always fun, jumping off of the waterfall is a hoooot

A seond vote for the Niagara Falls Gorge and Zoar…Letchworth is great and not that far away. All 3 are more like aggressive walks as opposed to big hikes…but you can find spots along the way to climb around on shit.

Zoar is a blast. There are a lot of trails through there, not just the little waterfall hike.

I’ve been hearing a lot of good things about the trails through Letchworth too. I plan on exploring quite a bit when I come back. We’ll have to meet up sometime.

Sounds good. I am going to get out somewhere this Thursday it looks like. yay for summer being on its way.

The hike up the this bridge at Letchworth is always a good time. There is alot to see even driving around the park too.

I saw a Bald Eagle last Tuesday at Zoar Valley. My friend caught a pic. Going back there tom if it doesnt rain.

Check out my hiking thread.

Eternal flame - 2 hours total time including driving and hiking. Then stop at georgea after for a bite to
eat makes a wonderful time and only a half day.

Letchworth - full day

alleghany state park - full day… More of a driving site see. But the have some cool shit there like thunder rocks which are just big fuckkng boulders to climb 50ft+ high. And trails to hike rangin from a mile to 10 miles. I loved just going there in the summer and catching a couple doZen crawfish and coooking them up. Also nice trails to bike on

zoar valley you will get arrested if you jump offf the fallls now. Go to canada if you want to do quarry jumping.

Chesnut ridge has some trails

niagara falls gorge has some trails. Didn’t really find then too interesting. But it’s a decent work out with all the stairs at devils funnel. Perfect place for a lady friend to bitch up a storm and leave her ass there.

There is a bunch more but I can’t think of them right now. I try to go for a hike every Sunday or Friday weather permitting.

i really liked whiteface up in the adirondacks and i love going to letchworth and going up on the bridge, they have a lot of trails that are good too
Lake Placid from whiteface
