Ok. I really don’t have time (nor do I actually care) to find out what is wrong with my car. I went over these wicked train tracks the other day (Bikerfly and others would know–they’re the ones at Wurlitzer and Erie in NT). Well, I noticed a slight clicking after. And then yesterday. And now today it’s a little worse. It clicks faster when it’s going faster. And I’m think MAYBE something to do with my front brakes (because they haven’t been done in 39k miles) but that’s a large maybe.
Anyway. I’ll let somebody else figure it out. If all else fails then I’ll go to Don Davis, because they are quite good. But they are quite pricey. I need it done quickly. I need to go to Ithaca next week and I don’t want to take my car since it’s CLICKING.
Yeah those train tracks suck. But the symptoms make me think it’s more likely something that rotates, and it’s rotational speed is relative to road speed. Could it be a wheel bearing?
basicly have to do rotors as if you were replacing the wheel bearings, cause the bearing winds up on the bench as its own piece before you can swap rotArs
I’m thinking that they really do need replacing though. That’s the back of one. bha. I hope that I can find a shop that will use the parts I purchased. ejkfjahrrr
