Goodbye summer...

I wonder who will be first to roll the Xterra: Me or my wife…

you’d be suprised how much it takes to get an suv of that size to feel like its going to tip. my old grand cherokee only felt like it was going to tip once.

About freaking time.

I bet I could flip an xterra, easily.

Good riddance. I love summer, but this shit is getting unbearable.

I want cool days and cold nights. I’m sick of sweating like a pig while biking. I’m sick of hazy days. I want to wear some damn hoodies, and use my heated seats, and drive through some wicked snowstorms, and go skiing when it’s -10 while everyone sits inside and bitches.

I miss winter so much, and I also miss normal fall weather, as we haven’t had any yet. The leaves are changed down here in the southtowns, but it doesn’t feel like fall. Just like last christmas never felt like christmas as it was 45 and completely snowless.

Summer was awesome, but enough is enough, and I’m getting sick of it quickly.

WORD DUDE. I love wearing hoodies. I hate not being able to wear 'em. I hate having to put my AC on to sleep at night. Ugh.

well i say goodbye to summer next week…and say hello to Virginia…and hopefully no snow…(even though ill miss it)

Anyone else on the volvo drifting team?

I came so close to flipping my 8,000# pickup truck.

I was drifting in a field and hit a 2 foot drainage ditch going side ways…my girl friend (who was not buckled in) hit her head off the roof and from what others said my driver side tires came about 2 feet off the ground. 10mph faster and I would not have a truck.

SO not to disagree with you, but you can easily flip a suv…just talk to your average soccer mom

Your evidence totally contradicts your conclusion. You hit it with a fucking boat load of stupid and still didn’t flip it.

good bye…

i finally got to ride my bike around the block yesterday…
1st time in 3 years.

just in time for snow.

so an suv weighing 2K# less and more top heavy should be harder to flip correct?

I’ve flipped a ranger before…which yes, weights less than your truck but is also much less top heavy

your talking about flipping an suv while drifting it. of course u can flip an suv while trying to drift. if im not mistaken, doesnt drift mean taking ur car/truck and sliding around turns sideways.

if this is the case, why on earth would u think that would make a truck flip. i mean really a truck sliding sideways with some speed, that should never flip. lol talk to my buddy. flipped his truck on the road just taking a turn. thats not even trying to drift.

its not the drifting that will get you…
its the immediate traction, or stationary objects.

:ohyeah: and ice doesnt tend to help come winter time either. so your in an suv and get sideways on ice then hit dry…not looking so good from my point of view :violin:

Aaaand… there goes summer. It was clear and sunny all morning. Just clouded up over Praxair.

Yep same here, looks all dark and gloomy. Bring on the snow.
