A guy i work with was tellin me how he found a few decent beaters for stupid cheap that lasted a few years.anyone else ever buy a car from that auction??

i heard get there early so u can turn the cars on and stuff and see if any lights come on(ie. check engine abs). He turned on a bravada and the motor was tappin.just a word of advice.most of the stuff is junk.lol
Auction is a total joke. Anything decent is bought by the dealers that are there. Went a few times but couldn’t find any deals at all. You have to wait until the very end of the auction to get your deposit back.

ha ha. i went when it was at that place in greentree. spent $2 on a raffle and won a maroon mid 80s 4dr cavalier POS… :rolleyes:

I worked with a girl that her husband would buy 3-5 cars at every auction, put a few hundred bucks into them and e-bay them for huge profit.
HA HA !! i wish… that would make it a true “goodwill” car for me
I would be happy… thats at least $200 in scrap + the cat
