heard about this

DO WANT

You can pretty much forget about being involved in the pilot program in NY because our politicians are way too hard to work with.

Saw this, been meaning to talk to the guys at Google to see if they are bringing it to our area, but I have a feeling not.

Tell Sergey what up.

I know its not cool to love multi billion dollar coorporations but I really heart google. I can’t wait to see their netbook and tablet they are planning on releasing.

x2

I would marry Google. Their innovation and corporate environment is amazing and unlike anything else. Plus, they are US based.

Only thing I hate about google is their practice of searching your personal information to post ads. Gotta keep the lights on somehow though…It pays the bills.

Google isn’t as big of a dick as M$ or Asshole…err I mean Apple. They actually work on new tech at reasonable prices with fair practices. Searching your personal information is a minimal thing for me…It’s not like they grab your SSN and hand it around town.

No cap?

prettttty damn fast.

I know that…but what if one day some disgruntled employee decided to start doing so? I know, big what if. I am not saying it’s evil, but the security of my data is always in the back of my mind.

I’m not sure they store any personal info at all other than IP address and past search info.

Ya that only bad thing about them was the controversy with their browsing logger that gave them info for ads to show on their adsense market and the google toolbar logging sites even in offline more.

Search for child porn daily on Google and see if anyone shows up at your house wearing a FBI coat.

I just want high speed interwebs… im going to go start hitting polls with high speed lines

LZ tell me how to tap in to your shit at my house(not in a gay way i want interwebs… fggts)

That’s more than likely the NSA, or some sort of legal law that requires them to do so. If google is monitoring search results to catch kiddie porn addicts then I’m all for it.

That is all hearsay until you show me data flow diagram. You cannot just make that assumption.

Read Google’s privacy policy. They store requests, IP address info, etc.

What information does Google use to serve ads on Gmail?

Google scans the text of Gmail messages in order to filter spam and detect viruses. The Gmail filtering system also scans for keywords in users’ emails which are then used to match and serve ads. The whole process is automated and involves no humans matching ads to Gmail content.

with no mention of whether or not that is just IP based or if the info is indexed by username
