I’m not sure if someone asked this, but just curious… With the Euro ECU “tune” that was in the car, was it optimized for better (higher octane) fuel? Or do they get the same stuff as in the US (sounds doubtful)?
It’s optimized right now for the 93 octane E10 we get here in NY. I made sure to fill up just as I was leaving NY so I didn’t use the gas in CT which would’ve produced SLIGHTLY higher numbers due to no ethanol at most stations.
Right now I also mixed in about four gallons of 112 octane as well. Tony’s in the process of designing a program to switch between pump gas and race gas maps for the ECU via laptop.

Honestly I’m not too sure. A lot of the big guys go for twin GT30’s or bigger. I’m just a baby in the Porsche world w/ the K24/16G’s.

There are no big single 996TT street cars that I’m aware of. Not much room to do it under the bonnet.
Car would do 200mph before it even went to EPL, bone stock it would do ~190 given enough road and no headwind. 200mph mark now is not even a question of the car’s capability, but rather the drivers balls to bring it there.

KTS-300, aka “Bosch Hammer” because it looks kinda like a hammer. A $4500 specialized scan/diagnostics tool for 964+ based P-cars, and other makes as well with different SIM cards.
