So monday night was my parents 30th anniversary so we went out to eat and celebrate. We parked on Madison and got out to walk down to the restaurant when all of the sudden I heard a car flooring it down a side street. I look over and see a brand new charger and figured it was an unmarked police car. Well it wasnt and the guy never even hit the brakes going on to Madison. He had to be doing atleast 60mph when he attempted to come onto Madison. What the news article doesnt tell you is that me and my brother are the ones that chased the guy and cornered him after he got out of the car and fled on foot. The pictures will tell the rest of the story for the most part.
The street he came off of:
The wall he hit which was about 7ft from away from me and my sister
The car he hit trying to flee:
The car that hit us. When he backed out into the road he hit her passenger rear quarter which spun her out
Our car:
The car that cause all the destruction. It was a rental car that was not his nor did he have a license:
pretty sure op insurance company will cover it. I highly doubt someone without a license has insurance, and I’m sure he has no money if you sue to recover deductible. Shitty situation.
The car was not rented to the out standing gentleman driving it. He has no license and must have borrowed the rental car from some one else and as far as insurance the rental company is going to have to foot that bill as long as for the other vehicles as well. Im sure they will ultimately go after the person who rented the car.
