oh… the crash/black flag session

That was the best session. So many flags and hitting.
All four of us fly by straight and he black flags each one of us = priceless.

See, I missed him flag all of us…hmm, you must been in the back of the pack to see that.

LOL Lew…none of us missed that…it happened at 2 stations!

I saw everyone flagged since I was behind you guys trying to lap.
How many times do I have to tell you the blue flag means let the faster driver by lol.

Next time will be more fun since everyone will be more faster since you have some experience there.

Yeah, it was nice passing four people piled up in turn one…
Flaggers didn’t really pay much attention and gave those black flags like they were free.
A qualifying would have definitely been very nice. I started 13th, 9th, and 11th twice. Last race I came up to third from 11th.

You fast bastids! :ahh

So how are we arranging the sets next time? Are we using the score-board as qualifying lap times for next event heats?

Then we can trash talk about moving up and down in the set heats after next time.

YaY P1

It’s not the finishing position that really matters if starting in random order, although it is greatly affected by that.
It is whether there’s slower traffic ahead that is significant.

How about 2 qualifying sessions with completely reversed starting order?
Initial starting order should be the times from the previous event.

For example, Lew is first, so in first session he will start first, then second session he will start last.
Then the average of those two qualifying sessions should determine the starting position.

Otherwise, we are comparing apples to pigeons.

The problem is the starting location is dictated when you pay and its not easy to change that…would have to be manually for each driver by the staff…Im betting that comes with track rental fees… not just the 90.50 we pay for four sessions.

But agreed. I started 3rd each time…ended 3,2,1 and…umm somewhere deep in the back during the black flag session
Starting order means everything when the most disparity we see in maybe up to 1 second a lap. We run what… 15 laps. Makes gaining 1-3 positions quite possible…but more than that when all drivers are somewhat close to par…difficult. Its nice to have slow traffic because it evens the game and lets you catch people and use skills in passing…but also allows the better / faster driver to get beat. Thats racing. So I say mix it up… we need some heavys to play too…

I’ll do the math for the rental sessions and see if it’s going to be feasible to rent one of the tracks for about an hour.

when u rent it for an hour, does that mean u can just keep racing one after another or how does that work / how many races can u do ? as much as u can fit in or what?

the one guy said 15 carts total. and last time there was 25 of us. and i think its what 2300 for an hour?

Someone needs to call… I thought I heard 4500 its hard to justify cost per run if its 4500… but if its 2300…were talkin

i thought it was 2200 for a half hour, who the fuck knows…

i heard 2200 for an hour or something when the guy was talking to Archie

ya it was something like that. but still if its 2300 and 15 people go for an hour thats 153ish. per person
