where do you jack up the front end? on the frame 1 side at a time? is there somewhere on the front end for a jack, or the axle?
i suggest not using the oil pan.
If I remember correctly we would do one side at a time and then use jack stands.
What are you trying to do… chances are there is an easier way.
change the oil. i wasnt going to lift it by the pan, thats stupid, but on my jeep i can lift it by the front diff, can you do that on a FWD?
Ive use the craddel sometimes. Most of the time I just lift it behind one of the front tires.
for changing the oil you can use the cradle… or pick a wheel and use one of the a-arms… like Jay said… I suggest picking a side… this way the jack isn’t under the middle of the car.
you’d be surprised how many people use the pan…

get the the oil filter but trunning the wheels to the right, and reach infront of teh tire.
