Properly jacking the front end of the car up?

I use the diff for the rear of course, But where is it safe for the car to be jacked up on the front that dosnt result in twisted metal, Clearly a large base on the jack would help but i dont have the luxury at the moment. Any suggestions?

Use the engine cross member

Front Rad support or K-Frame…

I have been using the front rad support all winter and its strating to bend :frowning: but if you put some wood there you will be good to go.

engine crossmember, auto>manual and 2 clutches later and no ill effects

  1. If your car is low and you can’t get a jack under the front then:

  2. Once a little up in the front, put a jack under the engine cross member

  3. ???

  4. Profit
