They didnt drill into the Marcellus because they didn’t have the technology to frac it. And a severance tax wouldn’t kill the MS, but it would definitely slow things down a LOT, and it would hurt the economy a LOT more than it would help it.

Honestly, I can’t understand how Rendell even got elected…who the fuck votes for someone who has never seen a tax he didn’t like?

Democrats always seem to find a way to kill any type of economic activity.
