Great interview on KDKA radio this morning on how to cash in on the Marcellus Shale

Wow man, I had no idea that you were such a community minded individual! Thanks for caring and for looking out for all of us!!

who the fuck cares when 2012 comes the end of the world will happen.

No, nuke plants melt down.

The waste really isn’t the problem, it’s the tree hugging dipshits who don’t know any better and spread misinformation.

Well…this won’t even be around much longer for us to argue over it…

Why is there such interest in drilling all of a sudden? The shale has been there forever and the gas companies have known about it for quite a while? The answer: The price of gas went up to the point where it became economically feasable to drill.

Leave it to Rendell and the Democrats in Harrisburg thet you people elected into office…they are now proposing a GAS EXTRACTION TAX on Marcellus Shale drilling. This will probably make drilling economically un-feasable once again and all the gas companies will just pack up and go away.

Then the Democrats in Harrisburg will look at each other and wonder what happened???

The waste really isn’t the problem, it’s the tree hugging dipshits who don’t know any better and spread misinformation.

Believe me the waste is a problem…waste is always a problem with anything. Have to store it somewhere

No, nuke plants melt down.

Oh excuse me for using the wrong terminology…but it is what it is…meltdown is a blow up in my opinion…still a fucked up situation that causes major damage anyway you put it.

lol

The only damage i see is… Do we really need to drill??
Darkstars mum has the damn gas and oil lube to supply america for 3 months. Tap the whale. I want a whale bone for over my fireplace when she expires.

Blow top off mountain, or drill 6" hole into the ground? And CONSOL drills gas wells too! Plus there were quite a few big gas companies that had private suites in the new arena when we went through it yesterday!

You’re more than welcome.

Sarcasm is full of this thread.

Mike you are NOVICE. not knocking you. go visit the folks on the drilling field. Spend time with these folks 24 hrs report back.
ask them all the questions. I know for a fact you never spent time with these folks. GO DO SOME FIELD WORK ! report hands on what these labors do to convince people.

I know how this operates. Infact i probably know more then you desk jockey. provide me with proof to prove other wise. been on these actual drilling sites numerous times with plain clothing and non HARD HAT, that hard core osha would love me.

All I can say is LOL. Misinformation and tunnel vision is strong in this thread. Of course there is waste but in all reality, it isn’t a real “problem” at this time because the volume is actually very low considering the amount of energy generated. Research before spouting off about something you know little or nothing about.

I will tell everyone something of fact The EPA / DEP is a bunch of jokers. This revenue generating assholes is the worst company. I’d rather get skull fucked by FBI. The FBI at least has something to investigate. F.B. INVESTIGATIONS

DOesnt matter how much there is…its highly radioactive and stays that way for many many years…the idea of storing it in a “mountain bunker” or similar just seems like a bad idea to me and others have agreed.

Permanent storage underground in U.S. had been proposed at the Yucca Mountain nuclear waste repository, but that project has now been effectively cancelled - the permanent disposal of the U.S.'s high-level waste is an as-yet unresolved political problem.

Who knows what other countries are doing.
So yeah it is a problem. Not on a volume level since like you say, not much waste is actually produced. Its just radioactive and its a long term problem.

Honestly, I can’t understand how Rendell even got elected…who the fuck votes for someone who has never seen a tax he didn’t like?

Democrats always seem to find a way to kill any type of economic activity.

Keep votin’ them in people…

As far as drilling, of course I am a novice. I’m not a tool pusher, I’m in land acquisitions. But I know enough to know what I’m talking about, and I’ve been on plenty of drill sites. My best friend owns a drilling company… :hsugh:

made it on the evening news last night. They showed up at the very end of our meeting and my brain was so freaking fried…

I will agree that LONG term, a solution needs to be found but if you realized how much waste was generated from actually creating power and the fact that arms grade is being converted for fuel use, you’d change your tune quickly. The problem with Yucca Mountain is, they wanted to put EVERYTHING in there. Weapons grade, other countries materials, etc. When you ONLY consider the fuel used for power generation, the amount is so small it’s negligible considering the cleanliness and amount of power made from it.

Dear Knapp Acquisitions:
Please check your anulus whist drilling. If there are any protrusions, contamination will ensue.
