GT35r A3 Del Sol

whos doing the tuning job?

Update:

Keeping this car and finishing it.

Putting the black Sparcos in it this weekend.

Installing the new speakers this weekend.

Dropping in the new 255 Fuel Pump.

Engine should be back by Halloween then installing. I will be posting pictures of the install. Feels good to be working on this again.

hasnt this motor been at the machine shop being assembled for over a year now?

i saw JnJ’s facebook feed say that they were coating a set of honda turbo pistons :snky:

yes, perfection takes time. I didnt need to rush him because I was working on the CRX but now he has been finishing it up for me. Getting it by Halloween.

:burnout::snky:

perfection? dude these motors go together in 3 hours.
this better be free…

No, JnJ are good guys and I am happy they took their time and cermic coated everything needed and doing it right.

I would rather not just put it together in three hours and then have it be like 90% of the honda motors that blow up after a quick build. I am keeping my fingers cross that it holds up and works according to plan.

true ive heard great things about jnj…
90% of hondas that blow up arent because the build was quick…its cuz it was done wrong, like any car.
im sure it will be a fine bottom end

the shop is tainted!

People have been happy with them lately. Why aren’t they a sponsor here?

jnj has never built a fast car, omg like duhh

no idea…im almost positive the owner comes to soughtgate once and a while…? if so really cool guy met him a couple of times

i think he got banned for being a H8r lol
if you’re into the car scene, you know of your local respected shops

and most hondas blow up because the motor was put together shitty…

just got my stock internals back from JnJ. I cant wait for the new and improved motor!:present:

update:

Just took out the seats, removed the panels to change in the new pump and getting ready to replace the stock speakers.

back on… awesome.

ill believe it when i see time slips <3

UPDATE:

Installed the Infinity Compnent Speakers in the rear
Installed the 255 Walbro Pump
(Ill post up pics tomorrow)

Picked up a Moroso Oil Pan predrilled for the turbo (Thanks Swerve)
Picked up Buddy Club Upper Control Arms (Thanks Swerve)
Picking up a Fluidampner (Harmonic Balancer)

In the process of polishing the rims (look baller, ill post up some pics tomorrow)

Update:

Got the rims polished up and got the rears back on the car. (See Below)

Installed the new Infinity Kappa compenets. These took a little bit of time but I wanted them to look good but not lose any sound when the top is off. I put the tweeters behind the locations of the seats. I then hid the crossovers in the storage boxes in the back. (See Below)

Installed the First Sparco seat on the drivers side. I like the fit and height a ton better then I did in the CRX. My head has plenty of clearance and I like the way the seats feel as well. (See Below)

Engine Update:

Ordered up the Oversized pistons (block need to be bored out +10 over). Dropped off the Fluidamper to JnJ and the motor should be back to me with in the next week or so. I will post up pics of the motor when it comes back.
