Updates:

Motor is at the shop getting the work done

Picked up the 255 fuel pump from Swerve today

Picking up the Moroso Oil pan that is predrilled for the turbo oil lines also at Swerve

Tomorrow I will be cleaning and wrapping the exhaust mani and the down pipe with heat wrap

edit: :snky:

Update:

Got all the exhaust, down pipe and the ram horn cleaned up. Its amazing how well they cleaned up with some elbowgrease and some brake clean. The down pipe was covered in oil and grease from the leaks of the oil feed line on the oil pan. Now I am going to wrap the mani and the down pipe with heat wrap. Take a look…

steel wool the manifold, it will look pimp, until u run it again, haha

looks good!

evans says u dont actually need a fpr for what your power levels/fuel pump
just something of thought… unless you already have it lol

aeromotive fpr was already on vehicle from when i originally turboed it…so he is all set with that, haha

looking good

Updates:

Just got a fully built tranny so I dont have to worry about the one wheel peel any more (Thanks Matt)

I have wrapped the down pipe so that is now good to go.

But my next project I was going to start while the motor is at the shop is working on the trunk. The trunk is still left red underneath the carpet. What do you guys think. Pull out the carpet and paint it black or leave the carpet in and say screw it? I am pulling out the spare tire etc, but I am just not sure if I want the look of carpet or a minty fresh painted trunk. What do you guy thinks?

I Stripped my entire interior, ripping out the tar, sanding it all down and primering it then spraying it all black. i think it will protect it more in the long run and also looks nicer.

I thought u were painting the whole thing?? Should prob just paint it inside and out.

true, I am going to have the entire outside of the car repainted the gray that it is now ( I love the color) and I want the engine bay black (finished) and then I wasnt sure if I should match the trunk to the engine bay or keep it stock looking with the carpet.

awesome build. i think you should go with carpet in the trunk.

also, buy my car!

tomorrow I will post up some pics and see what you guys think.

carpet the metal floor…

Update:

Took out the carpet and I am masking it off and sanding it down now. I am going to paint the trunk all black and then put back in the carpet I think. Take a look:

looking good.

are you using a gun?
