I sanded any of the rough spots that I didnt like or didnt look smooth. Then for the engine bay I used I temp primer, high temp paint, and high temp clear.
here is a side view of my car. I am thinking if I want to run the rims I have now or these rims:
ah, didnt catch that. do yourself a favor and only strip the sections that have rust, and prime it with a professional grade epoxy auto body primer, rattle can primer is about worthless. and stripping to bare metal removes the e coat, which is actually great rust protection
really? Honestly I have never had a problem with rattle can primer if you get the better stuff. I will let you know how it holds up. It will be a good test run for the DIY people.
keep the trunk painted black no carpet IMO… did u fill in the holes from the bottle i had in it?? also, I would go with a matte black wheel!!! the ones u have on the current picture posted are IMHO ugly as fawk!!
Been working on the CRX during my free time. In the process of cleaning up and sanding the engine bay, then repainting it like I did the del sol. I went thru the interior and replaced all the bolts and screws missing. Next I will be getting my new seats and then getting it all repainted black.
