GT35r A3 Del Sol

I sanded any of the rough spots that I didnt like or didnt look smooth. Then for the engine bay I used I temp primer, high temp paint, and high temp clear.

here is a side view of my car. I am thinking if I want to run the rims I have now or these rims:

with these rims 16x7

or

i think both of those would look really ugly…
go with a dark wheel

Why not use spray on bed liner for the trunk? And I vote light silver color for the wheels.

notice what i said was in future tense… as in i havent done it yet

ah, didnt catch that. do yourself a favor and only strip the sections that have rust, and prime it with a professional grade epoxy auto body primer, rattle can primer is about worthless. and stripping to bare metal removes the e coat, which is actually great rust protection

yeah i was only going to try and sand the rusted parts of the floor, and just repaint over everything, thanks for the advice !

really? Honestly I have never had a problem with rattle can primer if you get the better stuff. I will let you know how it holds up. It will be a good test run for the DIY people.

keep the trunk painted black no carpet IMO… did u fill in the holes from the bottle i had in it?? also, I would go with a matte black wheel!!! the ones u have on the current picture posted are IMHO ugly as fawk!!

edit: paint the OEM sideskirts body color:)

I think u should buy my rims  http://nyspeed.com/forums/showthread.php?t=62075

did u originally buy those off me…???

I am having the seats redone at a shop by mine, I will pm you all the info when i get the quotes on monday, The seats are out and ready to go.

I pulled the rails off the seats and I am stripping them down and refreshing the rails so the look new again.

cool thanks a bunch, what color scheme are you going with?

I am going to run black and gray for both of the crx and the del sol seats. Black as the main color and then gray accents in the middle.

Update:

Been working on the CRX during my free time. In the process of cleaning up and sanding the engine bay, then repainting it like I did the del sol. I went thru the interior and replaced all the bolts and screws missing. Next I will be getting my new seats and then getting it all repainted black.

Here are some pics of the process:

cant wait to see this t hing done. After 4 years i just got to the point where i was DONE with it…haha

Andy your nuts with both of these built machines lol. I love it, great progress with both in such a short period of time.

Looks like you have made very good progress

why not finish one at a time?
