buy a $30-$35 VGA adapter & hook your PS2 up to a monitor
its the best $30 you’lll spend on your ps2…picture quality is WAY better.
thats the way i have always played my ps2 until i got my HDTV
now i have it setup through component cables…so it can run @ 480P
but i heard that GT4 has upscaling to 1080i @ 60fps.
comparing the setups…personally i think that playing on a monitor with a VGA adapter give the best picture…it kills s-video or audio/video hookup to a tv.
component it decent…better then s-video & audio/video but not quite as good as VGA on a monitor.
but you give up size…my monitor is a 21" & my TV is a 42" widescreen, so its a trade off.
i usually play on the TV unless the wife has it then i go to the monitor.

and what do you think they used to make the game? Do you think they etched a blank disk by hand with a little needle and hoped it would turn out into a driving simulator video game?
