Gran Turismo 5 Release Update
Last Updated : Oct 13, 2010 It was announced today that Gran Turismo 5 will not be available this November 2nd as originally announced, but the game will be coming this holiday season.
Demo is at Gamestop, I played for probably an hour yesterday. Looks pretty, I might actually buy a PS3 for this game. Comes out next wed. 11/24/2010

I’d love for this game to come out and really suck. I played the demo, it’s ok.
forza still better lol, which sucks since this company has had 6 years to make this game, time to take it back.
Game looks amazing, I played the demo it feels pretty good, although i feel in less control of the vehicle. Example is say you start to lose slight control of the vehicle… it is so easy to actually spin out, I feel like I have no chance to save myself from wrecking.
But lets see what it is lacking compared to Forza 3.

Although I might still try to buy a PS3 for this game… I guess why should I rush it, I can wait and see if it is actually worth buying.

Not gonna lie though, the graphics are very impressive fot GT5, like in cockpit mode you can read the gauges very good, in forza 3 not so much.

good game, but definately not worth the wait in my opinion. forza 3 is a better game
Imo this is like people saying cod is better than moh. Both are in tje same genre but both have their benefits and detriments. To me moh and gt5 are slower more realistic gameplay and physics. Where cod and forza are more arcade fun fastpaced play thus more appealing. But the game gt5 feels unfinished and should have been 2 discs. But i feel its better than forza dispite forzas extreme fun to play motorswapps and modification.
I think forza feels realistic, GT5 feels good too, but I feel GT5 is barely playable with a controller, it feels like it was designed around the wheels and pedals. In GT5, as soon as you start to lose control and you try to counter steer to correct, you basically over correct and you spin out and your done. GT5 took way to long to not have the same premium detail in all the cars, and the car list itself is very poor… Even on the Gtforums the fanboys got upset over it.
Forza is far from an arcady game

I rather enjoy the feel of the cars so far. Being that I’m almost complete with forza it is time to move on.

Need for wheel and pedals- hence a driving simulator. (just saying) i cant remember the last time i drove my car with a game comtroller. But that said gt5 is FAR from perfect and a ways from being a real simulator. But it will do for now. The best thing they can do is make an update disk to fix all the shit problems in it. But i will say forza is much more of a completed product and a blast to play. Side note- i drifted my m3 around autmn ring and i found i could make my rear tires worthless in two laps constant smoke. No controllabilty
