That is NOT true.
The japanese and europeans got it yesterday but cannot complete in the contest. On the leader boards there are flags next to each name which is based solely on what county your PS3 account is set for. Since there are american flags on the list, some people in this country obviously can download it.

The latest guess I’ve been reading is that Sony is staggering the release throughout the whole day for different areas so people won’t crash their servers.

Oh and people have american flags on the leaderboard because once you download it you can play it on what ever username you want…
the flag is what country you’re set at, it has nothing to do with your username.
I also found out there are only 7 people in the US that have played. lol
I don’t know who was planning on waiting in line when the game finally comes out, but I suggest you don’t. 
Idk what is going on with the actual game, but if they cant even get the “demo” out to people, what can we expect from the full game? I put demo in quotes because I have read it doesnt even showcase half the features of the game.
SG-GSR: Where on the PS Store did you find it? I looked in demos, PSN Exclusives, new games… etc etc. Even the search function did not bring it up.
