I guess if you want 800rwhp with bolt-ons and wanna run 9’s with 4 people in the car get a GT500.

I love the way 2011 GT500’s look, and they handle far better than previous ones, but the ZO6 is obviously the far better all around car.

The drama is stupid. There is an argument for a GT500 for someone who doesn’t do track days but does like to take turns, and wants to make their car stupid fast for a very little amount of money.

ZO6 is weak for picking up threesomes, this could be a deal breaker for some. I guess one broad could sit on the other’s lap in the passenger seat, but a foursome is definitely out of the question.

i voted Z06 but i agree that for a DD the Mustang is a hundred times more practical.

You have a good point here. Could be cheaper to mod a standard C6, than to buy a Z06 model.

As mentioned earlier, the current 2011 GT500 is a much improved car over the earlier ones - Ford added a steering wheel this go-around

If your friend isn’t track-daying this more than once a year, the Mustang will be easier to live with. Cabin space, ground clearance, parts cost, etc.

That said… I’d still go with the 427 'Vette. Save practical for the family sedan

Although have to admit the GT500 Super Snake is pretty badass with it’s big blower and around 638rwhp/581 ft lbs to the wheels.
