wtf is wgaf?
:wgaf: = :gives:
its the PSP version… nothin special about it
it’s a new game that takes place three(?) years before GTA3. it’s not GTA4. it’ll be exclusively for PSP, and will be missing some functions from San Andreas (ability to swim, etc…).
i might buy a PSP just for this game.
No, its the same game (maybe not literally) but its copy/pasted from the other modern GTA games. They’re just cookie cutter rip offs of themselves. Althought they keep on track with the era they place the game, I never have found anything too exciting that they have added to the “new” ones.
So basically it’s GTA3, on a PSP, with different textures.
again: no.
GTA3 was the story of Claude Speed (set in 2001), who was mute, and also a minor character in San Andreas.
GTA:LCS is the story of Toni Cipriani’s rise, a mafioso who gives Claude missions in GTA3.
The game is called Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories. It takes place in Liberty City in the year 1998. You play as Toni Cipriani, a character from the previous game GTA III. Rockstar has stated time and time again that this is a full-scale, new, huge GTA game. As far as why it was made, that’s for Rockstar to know and you to find out.
totally different story, set in the same city. it’s developed by a different division of Rockstar too, so i think i’ll play it before i buy it.
Yes. Both of those are the same game with a different storyline. No matter which one you pop in your PS2, you will be required to run around, steal cars, beat people up and shoot them. The only difference is whether the car you steal is from 1998, 2001, or whatever year Vice City was set in.
Either way, I won’t be buying any of them. At least not until they incorporate the appropriate multiplayer capabilities.
That’s because you look at the GTA series as just games. There’s nothing massively impressive about the games themselves, or the graphics. GTA has always been about telling a story, like a movie. They hire famous voices and spend so much time on scripting the game because it’s supposed to draw you in like a good movie. To say that they’re all the same because they have the same ability sets with minor tweaks is like saying you only have to see one horror/action/comedy movie because they’re all filmed on the same film and use a buildup/climax/resolution plotline.
:ugh2: I do! Thats why I don’t watch movies either. The designers of the origional GTA and Vice City did an excellent job of keeping the game in the right era and keeping the story going… if thats your thing cool. But when I play a video game, I am more interested in teh game part… not the cut scenes and narrative.
We Love Katamari comes out for PS2 on Wednesday.
I’ve been playing super bomberman 3 for snes the past few nights.
OLD SCHOOL

it’s still funner than a lot of games I’ve played recently… although the music drives me nuts.
