I’m sure it was closed course
This one made me literally LOL while I was reading Nissan’s rebuttle:
"I’m cheeky enough to say it’s flattering that Porsche have bought themselves a GT-R and flown it to Germany, they want to try it. I guess that’s some kind of stamp of approval. "
:rofl
haha awsome
It would be funny i porsche had a responce to that …saying something like there was a small warehouse fire where hey store there test cars …and the only damage was to the Gtr … ended up like travis’s car
Ok this just hit me, so let me get this straight.
Walter Rohrl (7:49), a 2 time WRC champion, is 11 seconds slower than a nameless Porsche engineer (7:38) drving the same car at Nordschleife. Yet, that exact same Porsche engineer clock a lap in a GT-R 25 secounds slower (7:54) than a Nissan test driver??? Either Porsche just proved to the world that Walter Rohrl suck at driving or they forged the numbers simply to make Nissan look bad just before the Paris Auto Show?
How do you say “sour grapes” in German?
Those nameless engineers are phenomenal drivers. They arent just the nerds doing the math in the paddock.
:nod
I never said they are not good, but is he better than Walter Rohrl?
You tell me.
Porsche is better than Gt-R. ZR-1 is better than both. Quit fighting over second place…
No one is fighting… :hug but between the ZR1 and the ACR, I will pick the ACR cause its about 20k cheaper.
“Die Trauben hängen zu hoch.”
Best part is the new CTS-V just lapped it in under 8 minutes… and its a sedan. Germans aint gonna much like that either!
I dont think the Germans care if Cadillac comes out with an M5 killer 5 years after each time the M5 comes out.
M5 is prettier anyways. :tong
I don’t get all of this bickering. I see it on two forums.
The ZR-1, GT-R, and Porsche are all amazing pieces of work.
The End.
