GTR VS. Modded Terminator

I was thinking the same thing. I was wondering where this :snky: 18lb pulley is hiding in the world. Cool vids. I never hear my supercharger like that over my exhaust so I guess it’s time for more boost.

I was making an observaton for all the GTR humpers… in short the GTR can lick ma nutz

Altima kid is just throwing out some mythical numbers…I’d trust Bladez’s knowledge about Cobras over any moran anyday. Bunch of posers :roflpicard:

Wow the GTR gets a lot of hate/ love lol…

Anyways- as I stated a few months back on roclife the dig race should have been more close. I really didnt know how the car would react.

It is true that the GTR has done 11.5 @ 121… Which I believe according the National GT-R forum is the fastest ET and mph for a stock one…unless you count one car Edmund’s tested which did 11.4 @ 124 or 125 I cant remember, but I have to scratch my head at that mph because I dont know how I could get another 3-4mphs out of the car. If I lowered my 60fts, which I never played with the tire pressure that night, I think she can do an 11.4-11.3

Chucky’s Mustang is not slow by anymeans…Id say his car traps in the mid 120’s. Hes never beaten the Z06 which has run 10.9 @ 131 on not so good stock run flats, but he clearly has a few mph over the GT-R.

I do however think it could run lower ET’s. The day it was at the track my 60fts were high 1.8s. If Gleason cares to post some vids of it, you’ll see it spin pretty bad.

The car has power- it made 434awhp on AMS’s dyno and is actually in Chi-town land being built up so it can compete with some of these modified cars lol…

As far as with the Z06 the GT-R can hold its own on the road course, trust me I witnessed it when we took the GT-R and pinned up against a stock engine Z but had about 20k in suspension mods, but he left his stock tires on or else it wouldn’t have been even more fair. We tried to do a stock for stock comparison but couldn’t find a Z06 that was bone stock.

Suffice to say the GT-R beat the Z by .3 at Autobahn country club with the same IRL licensed driver piloting both. The driver even said that he wished he had more seat time in the GTR- he knew there was more in it. The Z he drove was owned by a member in which he has used that car numerous times and is very comfortable with.

Knowing both cars very well now, the garbage I hear about the GT-R against the Z is just people hating on a freakin peice of plastic in my opinion. Whether Nissan lied about the HP rating or w/e the GT-R holds its own. Yes there is alot of bad hype with the launch control issue however, I know a few companies are working on stronger gears and will be released after sema so Im not worried, not to mention my car has seen about 10 launches and was in tip top shape at the 1000k service.

All in all, the GT-R will never be a “drag car” nor a track car- AMS and I came to the conclusion this car will be able to be one BAD ass street car that can make a trip to the strip throw some good times down or be thrown around a road course.

Sorry for the long expo- you guys may continue your arguing lol

if you are talking about chuck basil’s turbo fox… It traps a tad higher than mid 120’s

no chucky is the owner of that cobra in the vid
