ok i ran outta wire so i used some speaker wire from the guage to the main wire on the temp sensor. i used teflon tape on the threads and every wire is hooked up ok. but it dont work !!!
i went to rice boys and they said the teflon tape on the sensor is not allowing a good ground for the sensor do you think thats the problem ???
Im waiting for it to cool down and try it again but i dunno i hope i didnt damage the sensor somehow !!!
i really doubt its not giving it a good ground b/c most ppl say to use teflon tape when using some sort of temp guage… did you try another piece of wire and make sure you hooked everything up right? oh and it could just be by chance that the temp guages is not grounded to whatever its attached to. u could just tape a piece of wire to the sensor and the frame to check. but i used pipe dope basically to keep the sensor from leaking
actualy it was the teflon tape that fuckedit up i didnt think but i guess the poopbpys old guy was right !
Then i needed to refill my tranny fluid a lil so i said shit i dont have a funnel so i looked around and saw a contact lens bottle and popped the top and filled it with tranny fluid and poured it in
